Brazilian Raintree - 18"x14"x22" (pithecellobium tortum)
This hardwood tree is native to Brazil and its rainforests. The raintree has delicate branches and tiny light-green compound leaves and is spiny. The leaves fold up at night or in subdued light and wakes up when we do. Easy indoor care. 23 years old. 18"x14"x22" tall.
Japanese Red Maple - 17"x14"x19" (acer palmatum dissectum 'Red Filigree Lace')
A relatively new variety with the most dissected or finely cut red foliage of any Maple. Deep maroon leaf color turns crimson in fall. Decideous. Keep outdoors. 11 years old. 17" x 14" x 19" Potted in a ceramic blue rectangular container 10'x8" as shown. Suitable 10.5"x14.
Deodar Cedar - 18"x14"x23" (cedrus deodora)
Evergreen with pyramidal pendulous branches. 1"-2" blue-green, sharp pointed needles; 15-20 per whorl. 3-4" bluish green cones. Keep outdoors. 10 years old. 18"x14"x23" Potted in a 10" ceramic brown pot with painted etchings as shown. Suitable 10.5"x14.
Japanese Kingsville Boxwood - 16"x12"x20" (buxus microphylla 'compacta')
Native to Japan the Kingsville Boxwood has the smallest leaf of all Boxwoods which is why it is often used for bonsai. The leaves are light green with excellent branching. Can form round compact shape or be shaped into pom-poms.
Hinoki Cypress - 14" x 13" x 19" (chamecyparis obtusa "compacta")
The Hinoki Cypress is an evergreen conifer with flat deep green fan-like foliage. The leaves are edged with blue on the undersides. Pea-sized cones. Beautiful uncommon evergreen which is the smallest of the species. Not to be confused with Arborvitae. Hardy. Keep outdoors.
Trident Maple (acer buergerianum)
Well known for the superb colors of its foliage in autumn. The bark is a dappled pale brown and exfoliates with age, revealing a grey, orange and brown color. The small leaves (which resist scorching during drought) have 3 short lobes close together - hence the name "Trident".
Chinese Flowering White Serissa - Tree of a Thousand Stars (serissa japonica)
Tree of a Thousand Stars. The Japonica has somewhat elongated spoon shaped, shiny evergreen leaves. It is a twiggy tree that grows tighter with shearing.
Japanese Maple Filagree (acer palmatum dissectum)
The Dissectums are the most highly sought after of the Japanese Maples. Their leaves are so deeply cut that they have a lacey or feathery quality. Has beautifully gnarled and cascading branches. The height is restricted because of the location of the graft on the rootstock.
Brush Cherry-14"x11"x33" (eugenia myrtifolia)
Also called Syzygium Paniculatum, Australian Brush Cherry. Has small handsome evergreen leaves which are firm and glossy and the flowers are white. If it receives enough light, the leaves will develop red highlights. Trained into the tiered ball style on the same trunk.

This broad, sweeping, conical-shaped evergreen has graceful, flattened, fern-like branchlets which gently droop at branch tips. AKA Silver Cypress because the foliage has silver-white branch tips. Hardy. Keep outdoors. 14 years old. 21"x18"x32".
